SECURITY

At Pina Court, LLC, its subsidiaries or affiliates, we understand and share your concern about security regarding your information. Pina Court, LLC and PINA COURT are committed to protecting the information we collect and maintain about you.

1.WHAT DO WE DO TO PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?

  • We use industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption to protect any purchase information while in transit.
  • Credit card information stored by our payment processors is always encrypted and kept in an environment with certified compatibility PCI DSS.
  • All of our standards and internal security policies are frequently reviewed and updated to ensure that our infrastructure remains current and complies with the most stringent safety practices and regulations.

2.HOW CAN YOU PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?

  • Never share your username or password. Anyone who holds your account information can access your account and make purchases.
  • Create secure passwords. The more complex your password is, the safer it will be; a hard password is harder for someone to decipher. We suggest you choose a password that has at least 7 alphanumeric characters and/or symbols.
  • Avoid using easily identifiable or personal information. Examples of passwords that can be easily identified may include: the name of a family member, your date of birth, your pet’s name, your email address, etc.
  • Be cautious when using a public device. This device may contain programs designed to steal your login information. Do not forget to log off when you have finished your session.

3.Emails Security

Emails are generally insecure and easy to forge. Note that an email, even if it comes from a relative or a friend, may be fraudulent and could be designed to confuse you and to obtain your personal information. In some cases emails may suggest that you install programs or applications that may not be recommended for your devices.
Make sure your devices have an antivirus and firewalls. It is your responsibility to verify that they remain current and active at all times. Having antiviruses and firewalls is a good practice that helps to prevent and reduce fraud related to identity theft. PINA COURT, through any of its employees or legal representatives, will never ask you for your login credentials or any other personal information such as credit card number via email. If you have received a suspicious email, that seems to come from PINA COURT, or have questions about a request made by email, please forward such email to team@pinacourt.com.

4.Safety on Phone Calls

If you get in contact with our Customer Service Department, our representative may verify your identity by asking you non-critical information such as the user name of your account, current shipping address, or information associated to past orders.

5.SSL Certificate (Secure Sockets Layer)

All sensitive data is transmitted over HTTPS, where a secure SSL connection must be established and the data is encrypted. If at any moment you receive SSL certificate errors when accessing any of Pina Court, LLC’s sites, including www.pinacourt.com, this means that the domain name in the SSL certificate does not match the address on the browser address bar. It can also mean that your browser is misconfigured and does not accept the root certificate used by www.pinacourt.com. Please contact us at team@pinacourt.com if you experience such difficulties. If you suspect that your account information has been compromised or violated, or fraudulent charges have been made to you, do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Department through our website, or call us at +1-844-800-PINA (7462) in USA, or +1-489-8065 in Colombia.

This Security Policy may be updated periodically and without prior notice to reflect changes made to our practices of information security.
